I have been a physical therapist since 1996. I own TheraPlus Physical Therapy and Personal Training. You can reach me at 314-821-8304. With Carol and Amy’s help, I provide physical therapy and train clients trying to help people move better, feel better, and perform better.
I went to Country Day, Grinnell College, and Washington University for my Masters Degree to become a physical therapist. I coached middle school football and helped coach wrestling during physical therapy school and in the first few years after graduating.
I have tried to be an athlete since 1985. I played football, wrestled, and pole vaulted in high school. I pole vaulted at Grinnell College. Then I became a powerlifter, strongman competitor, and Olympic weightlifter.
I have had some success at athletics through work, planning, strategy, and luck.
I play with downhill skiing. I am learning to wake foil and wakesurf. I have a goal of trying a cross country ski marathon but I should probably start with a shorter race. I want to give Master’s track and field a go but am struggling with what events to do.
I have long thought I was too busy to put out articles and videos. I would see other people putting out daily videos and know they didn’t see eleven hours of clients that day or any day. They were in a different business than me.
After repeated talks with friends I realized I am different from other people online. I could add my voice to the conversation. I’m going to talk about movement, exercise, fitness, health, physical therapy, strength training, personal training, running a business, and balancing it with your family life.
So in 2021 I am going to write and shoot videos about things I believe, things I know, things I do, things I am trying to figure out, experiences I have had, and resources and equipment I have used and use in my life and business.
